About the event
This comprehensive course is specifically designed to enhance students' confidence and refine their piano skills in preparation for the ABRSM Initial Grade exam.
Throughout the course, students will have the unique opportunity to perform for their peers and practice on the acoustic piano in the actual exam room, which will be utilized during the exam in May.
Exam Components Covered
Scales and Arpeggios: Emphasis will be placed on achieving an even tone and smooth legato while utilizing correct fingering.
Three Exam Pieces: Students will perform their selected pieces for one another, followed by an insightful teacher-led discussion to enhance understanding and performance quality.
Sight Reading: A variety of sight reading exercises will be conducted to build confidence and proficiency in this essential skill.
