At Pianobeats, we understand that helping your child with their daily piano practice can be challenging, especially if you don’t play the piano yourself. That’s why we’ve created simple, easy-to-follow videos to support our students in fully understanding and internalizing their lessons.
Basic Videos - These free videos will help reinforce what has been learned in lessons, assist with revision, and provide guidance if a lesson has been missed.
Premium Videos – These are in-depth, step-by-step lesson recordings where a teacher walks you through each page, explaining every detail—just as if you were in a private one-on-one lesson!

Foundation Level
Divided into three segments, this level is tailored for young beginners (5+), providing a clear step-by-step guide through the fundamental elements of music. Upon finishing Level 3 students will be prepared to tackle the initial level exam materials.
Initial grade
​The Initial Grade in ABRSM practical music exams provides a foundational introduction to musical skills for young learners. It's a stepping to higher grades, focusing on basic performance, technical skills, and aural and sight-reading abilities.

Grade 1
A grade 1 piano exam emphasizes essential piano skills, including scales, arpeggios, and sight-reading. Students required to perform pieces from the syllabus and show an understanding of basic music theory concepts, such as note values, time signatures, and common musical terminology.
